Aloha all,

I am searching for room mate to share with me a 2 or 3 bedroom around Manoa area.
I am currently living in Maui and i will be moving in your area during the summer (around July).
Since i really want to find people that are health conscious and spiritual, i thought sending you all a message might be helpful!!!

If you are searching for a new place, or know of anyone Fantastic searching for a place, it would so nice to hear from you :-)

You can see my add on craiglist here:

I am really exited about moving and getting the chance to connect with wonderful people in the area!
Besides Down to earth is there any other Organic health food store? restaurants?
What about crystals shops? or new age stores?
Any advices for meditation or yoga community?

Thank you so very much!
I wish you all a very magical weekend full of blessings,
and i really hope to hear from you :-)
Naïma :-)

Aloha! Naima,

There are a few health food stores on the island. In town there's Down to Earth, Kokua Market, Umeke Market, and soon to be Whole Foods (I'm forgetting some others). On the North Shore, there's a nice little store called Celestial Natural Foods in Hale'iwa. They also serve delicious meals during the day.
There are a few veggie-friendly restaurants here as well. Too many to list, but if you're looking for something in particular let me know. As far as crystal/new age stores go, I'm not sure what that is. But, there's a store I think you may be referring to just off of Wai'alae behind Coffee Talk. They have gems, crystals, incense, candles, etc.
There's at least a dozen large yoga/meditation groups in town, in addition to many, many smaller ones. I'll spare the readers my opinions on them, but if you want to know more just PM me.
I'll keep an ear open for friends looking for a roommie. Do you already have a place lined up, or are you looking to move to Manoa? That can be a very difficult neighborhood to find housing (very expensive/very limited). If you're lucky, you'll live in a house with 3 or more roommates, or an ultra small studio by yourself and pay a fortune for it. Still, I've seen people get really nice places in Manoa, so stay persistent. Good luck!
